Mechanical engineering, milk production, fertilizer production, Dymkovo crafts and much more. On the Day of the Kirov Region at the RUSSIA EXPO, the region presented its achievements.

New kindergartens, schools, hospitals are being built in the region, territories are being improved. And among the promising sectors of the economy are mechanical engineering and metalworking, agriculture, industry, forestry.

"The northern region - the Kirov region - is in the top five in Russia in milk production. Our chemical production is a world leader in fertilizer production. The timber industry is one of the most advanced in the world. Our defense enterprises strengthen Russia's military power", - said the Kirov region Governor Alexander Sokolov.

The region presented a unique tourist route "The World of Discoveries in Vyatka. Journey to Science", and also introduced the Dymkovo craft. This is the clay toy painting, known throughout Russia. At the stand of the region you can taste farm products. And Vyatka chefs presented regional specialties - soup "Smorchkovaya Gubnitsa" ("Morel Sponge"), Istobensky potato pie and open pie with Vyatka cottage cheese, lingonberries and nuts.
