The Day of the Baptism of Rus: a holiday uniting the country’s history, culture, and traditions

On 28 July, Russia celebrates the Day of the Baptism of Rus, a holiday dedicated to one of the most important events in the country's history. It is on this day that the Baptism of Rus, which took place in 988 under Prince Vladimir, is remembered. This commemorative date was established by a federal law in 2010.

The Baptism of Rus became an event that had a huge impact on the development of the state, culture, and spiritual life of the country.
