Designer-florist Vyacheslav Roska shared secrets of his art with RUSSIA EXPO guests
The floral show "Moscow — My Love" at the RUSSIA
EXPO was conducted by Vyacheslav Roska, Russian champion in professional
floristry, European Championship participant and winner of numerous contests
and festivals. The master shared his secrets of creating compositions using
unusual materials.
"I work with materials that are unusual for the average person to see, such as metal, plastic and wax. Then, I might combine plastic with hay or flowers. In other words, I work with incongruous items that can impress people," said Vyacheslav Roska.
He added that he has been working professionally in this
field for over 25 years, and it always brings him emotional satisfaction. The
professional florist also held a masterclass for all comers, where a
composition titled "Summer in Full Swing" was created using
wildflowers.
The event was part of the "Future in Flowers"
festival, which will continue at the Exposition until July 8. For this
festival, a circular exposition was constructed on Industry Square, showcasing
flowerbeds from various regions. Additionally, the event features a workshop of
the same name where Russian breeders present their achievements, displaying 400
varieties of peonies, 140 varieties of lilacs, 120 varieties of irises and 250
varieties of roses from different parts of Russia. Vertical flowerbeds prepared
by state corporations and other thematic exhibits have also appeared on the
VDNH grounds.
The International RUSSIA EXPO showcases the most important
achievements of the country in one place. Throughout the Exposition, cultural
events, a rich business and educational program await the guests. The
expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and
public organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 16 million people
have already visited the Exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO takes place
on the territory of VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
