Dmitry Chernyshenko visits the National Centre RUSSIA stand at the International Festival of Youth — 2026
Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, visited the National Centre RUSSIA stand at the International Festival of Youth — 2026 (IFY-2026) in Yekaterinburg. The stand's flagship project, the Department Store, is presented as part of the festival programme. The tour for the Deputy Prime Minister was led by Alexander Uvarov, a blogger and participant in the first cohort of the Young Journalists School.
"Everyone, come to the International Festival of Youth in Yekaterinburg! And start exploring it with the National Centre RUSSIA stand," said Dmitry Chernyshenko.
The National Centre RUSSIA team told the Deputy Prime Minister that the Department Store, its flagship project, has proved popular with international visitors. They also noted that the project had been presented several days earlier at the "INNOPROM. India" international industrial trade fair in New Delhi, where T-shirts and sweatshirts featuring quotes from President of Russia Vladimir Putin were among the most popular items.
"I want not only all of Russia, but the whole world to know about our stand," said blogger Alexander Uvarov.
During his visit, Dmitry Chernyshenko was presented with a special version of a nevalyashka (roly-poly toy) depicting Cheburashka, the famous animated character. The toy was created by the National Centre RUSSIA for IFY-2026 in Yekaterinburg.

September as part of the "Cultural Code" thematic space. It features
products and crafts from Russian regions, ranging from sweets, tea and
cosmetics to ceramics, jewellery, textiles and traditional handicrafts

The event formed part of the cultural and educational programme of the "Legacy. Theatre. The Greats" exposition.
