A meeting
of the organizing committee to prepare for the celebration of the 650th
anniversary of the city of Kirov was held at the RUSSIA EXPO. It was chaired by
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
"The
650th anniversary of the city of Kirov is a significant event not only for the
Volga Federal District, but also for Russia as a whole. The events within the
framework of the anniversary should be held at the highest level. Modern Kirov
is a dynamic and industrious city that is being transformed right before our
eyes. The facades of dozens of buildings are being renovated here, improvement
projects are being implemented. The city is becoming more comfortable and
attractive for residents and tourists", - said Dmitry Chernyshenko.
Deputy Prime Minister noted that the celebration of the 650th anniversary of Kirov will contribute to the development of tourism in the region. For the anniversary of the regional center cultural objects will be repaired, and a monument to Alexander Nevsky will appear on one of the central squares - in front of the Vyatka Philharmonic Society.
Dmitry Chernyshenko instructed the government of the Kirov region together with the Ministry of Economic Development, ANO "National Priorities" to develop tourist routes for the anniversary of the city. Deputy Prime Minister visited the stand of the Kirov region, where agreements were signed with the All-Russian Federation of Phygital Sports and the Russian Wrestling Federation.
The performance of "The Proposal" served as a fitting echo of the III All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts", which took place at the National Centre earlier this month.
Toys created by family workshops, handcrafted wooden figurines and natural caramel — all these children's goods are brought together at the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA.
On 28 July, the exposition "Legacy. Theatre. The Greats" will commence at the National Centre RUSSIA, timed to coincide with the 150th anniversary of the Union of Theatre Workers of our country.
