Less than a week to go before the opening of the exposition of Pavilion No. 1 "First in Russia - Land of Opportunity" at the RUSSIA EXPO

The joint exposition of the Movement of the First and the platform "Russia - Land of Opportunity", which will be located in the renovated Pavilion No. 1 at VDNH, will be opened to guests of the International RUSSIA EXPO in several days - on November 4.

Works are currently underway to decorate the entrance group, through which one can enter the pavilion, and the temporary exposition itself, "First in Russia - Land of Opportunity," where eight halls will be dedicated to the achievements of our country through the reflection of the past, present and future.   

"The unique interactive project of the Movement of the First and the Presidential platform "Russia - Land of Opportunity" will be presented at the International RUSSIA EXPO in the Pavilion No. 1, and it is truly symbolic. The audience will learn about modern technologies that change our lives, about outstanding people whose example inspires modern youth, about how the dreams of past generations became today's achievements of our country. Thanks to unique technological solutions, each participant of the interactive space will be able to create a visual projection of their own dreams", - said Grigory Gurov, Chairman of the Board of the Movement of the First.

Children and adults will be able to visit the unique interactive space - for this purpose it is necessary to register on the platform expo.pervye.ru.

"Despite the fact that VDNH is traditionally associated with history inside Pavilion No. 1, guests of the RUSSIA EXPO can expect a lot of modern technological solutions. For example, the "dream dome" is only a small part of the pavilion's exposition, which will reveal the main idea of our project and allow you to visualize your dreams. I am sure that the combination of traditions and innovations will allow us to most effectively realize the concept we have conceived", - said Alexei Komissarov, Director General of the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization "Russia - Land of Opportunity", Rector of the Presidential Academy (RANEPA).

Pavilion No. 1 "Central" will be opened for the first time after large-scale repair and restoration works - the building has been under reconstruction since 2014 and has been restored to its historical appearance. The temporary exposition will not violate the historical and cultural value of the pavilion, all works are carried out in accordance with the requirements of construction supervision. 

"Pavilion No. 1 "Central" is fully ready to host the participants of the RUSSIA EXPO. Today the famous pavilion gets a new life after restoration. Specialists managed to return the building to its 1954 appearance: the facades, exterior decoration and magnificent interiors of the pavilion have been restored. Very soon the guests will be able to fully appreciate the result of the painstaking work of the restorers", - emphasized Sergey Shogurov, General Director of VDNH.

It should be noted that the total area of Pavilion No. 1 is more than 9.3 thousand square meters, on which the created technological space "First in Russia - Land of Opportunity" will be located. The exposition will reveal the key idea of the project that a dream is the beginning of any discovery. Each visitor will be able not only to visualize his dream, but also to get acquainted with the projects of the Movement of the First and the platform "Russia - Land of Opportunity". The exposition will also host many educational, cultural and entertainment events.
