"You can reach heights in any profession": Nikolai Valuev visited the RUSSIA EXPO
World boxing champion, State Duma deputy Nikolai Valuev met with the guests of the RUSSIA EXPO and shared the secrets of success in sports and in life with young people.
"I am glad that even after the end of my sports career I can do exactly the same work within the walls of the State Duma together with my fellow athletes. And I believe that it is necessary to study until the last day of your life, because it is knowledge that determines the future, thanks to it a person lights up with an idea, gets an impetus to action", — said Nikolai Valuev.
He also explained to young people how to work in different spheres and directions at the same time.
"If you want to have more time, then, first of all, you need goal-setting and a clear action plan. You cannot disperse your forces on many, perhaps even very interesting, things. If you act on this principle, you can achieve a lot. Try, dare, and then each of you will be able to leave a unique mark in the history of your great and small Motherland", — the athlete addressed the participants of the meeting.
Along with Nikolai Valuev, the guests of the thematic season "Sports St. Petersburg" at the RUSSIA EXPO were Olympic judo champion Tagir Khaibulaev, boxer Oleg Saitov, Honored Coach of the Russian Federation Mikhail Rakhlin, sambo wrestler Denis Goltsov and other prominent athletes. The thematic season will be available at the stand until December 10.
