In addition, Chuvashia is among the top ten in the ecological rating of the quality of life in the regions. A favorable environment was created for the residents due to the "green" course. By the way, a 372-year-old oak tree, which grows in Chuvashia, received the Russian Tree of the Year 2023 award. Today the region pays special attention to the development of tourism.

"For the first time in the history of the new Russia, interregional routes of inland water transport were launched, which served as an impetus for the development of domestic tourism. The network of routes and the number of vessels is increasing every year", - said the head of region.
