The expert program on architecture and urbanism, "Looking Into the Future," will take place on April 8 at the National Centre RUSSIA. Leading Russian and international architects, urbanists, designers, government representatives, and professionals from the creative industries will discuss the future of urban planning.

Among the topics of the expert program are future trends, the formation of a unified system of state visual communication, the history of Russian architecture from panel buildings to the modern era, the influence of fashion trends on regional life, the visual identity of cities and its development, as well as the comprehensive development of Russian territories. All these aspects are equally important for forecasting, according to Shadi Azizi, Associate Professor at Azad Islamic University, co-founder and Vice President of the NESHA consulting company, and founder of the Iranian Academy of Architect-Researchers, as she shared with the press office of the National Centre RUSSIA.

"I believe that many topics deserve discussion — from artificial intelligence to hyper-objects such as climate change, economic crises, migration, and so on. Among them, I focus most on hyper-objects, considering the situation in my country. Thinking about the future is crucial because it allows us to prepare for it now, both intellectually and practically. Most importantly, we must incorporate future forecasts into discussions," emphasized Shadi Azizi.

Shadi Azizi will speak as a panelist at the "Architecture of the Future" discussion. During the international dialogue, the expert will focus, among other things, on cooperation between Iran and Russia.

"At the upcoming panel discussion, I will talk about hyper-objects, focusing on the situation in Iran. The key idea I will present is the necessity of viewing the architect as a strategic figure of the future. The first step toward cooperation between countries in the architecture of the future is continuous dialogue. Such discussions and the search for common ground are especially important when it comes to the hyper-objects of the future, followed by the development of a joint action plan. International cooperation is crucial because the challenges we will face in the future are global, and they can only be addressed through collective efforts. International dialogue helps experts recognize various issues and their significance, and the most important step is bringing politicians and specialists closer together," said Shadi Azizi.

The "Looking into the Future" program includes panel discussions and specialized sessions:

— Architecture of Tomorrow: The Role of the National and the Global.

— Russia's Visual Code.

— How Fashion Brands and Cultural Initiatives Transform Regional Life.

— Discussion of Growth Points.

— The Visual Style of Regions: Opportunities and Prospects.

— Revitalization of Historic Territories.

— A City for Everyone: From Theory to Practice.

— Architecture of the Future.
