Exclusive from the National Centre RUSSIA: Women's Day greeting from the artists of "Ode to a Woman Through the Ages"
On International Women's Day, the National Centre RUSSIA hosts the concert "Ode to a Woman Through the Ages," bringing together artists from various genres. Poets and beatboxers, opera singers, performers of Gypsy songs, masters of melodized poetry, and classical romance come together to celebrate the occasion through a unique program. The concert is a journey through different eras and cultures, with each composition dedicated to the role of women in history. The participants of the program extended their heartfelt congratulations to all women and employees of the National Centre RUSSIA on March 8.
World beatbox champion Vakhtang performed a Georgian parable exclusively for the National Centre RUSSIA.
"For the women of the National Centre RUSSIA, I would like to sing a Georgian parable. It tells the story of a beautiful girl standing on one side of a river, while her beloved is on the other. They cannot meet or cross the river because it is too turbulent. There are such rivers in the Caucasus, and they are very dangerous. Every day, the lovers meet in their dreams, they love each other, but they cannot see each other in real life. May it be so that everyone finds their own 'bridge' to their beloved. May love reign in the National Centre RUSSIA and throughout the entire country," said Vakhtang.
A greeting was also extended to women by Arif Dadashov, conductor of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre.
"I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the National Centre RUSSIA for welcoming us today and giving us the opportunity to present such a program. Nowhere else could this be possible — only here. And for the second time already. It is a great joy and honor. And, of course, I wholeheartedly congratulate all the female employees of the National Centre RUSSIA and all the women of our country on this wonderful holiday. I wish you joy, inspiration, the most magnificent bouquets, the most beautiful flowers, peace and happiness to all," said Arif Dadashov.
Folklore Arif (DJ Arif) also joined in the warm wishes on International Women's Day.
"To the women of the National Centre RUSSIA and all the women of the world, I wish love, kindness, to be loved, to always smile, to find joy in every day, to delight in the sun as it rises. Simply to be happy and always, always cherish life," said Arif.
The concert program also features performances by the vocal ensemble Arielle, the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, opera soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre Guzel Sharipova and Ksenia Dezhneva, as well as Mariinsky Theatre soloists Natalia Pavlova, Andrei Serov, and Alexander Trofimov.
