Yelets lace at the National Centre RUSSIA Department Store stand at INNOPROM 2025
The
Department Store stand of the National Centre RUSSIA became one of the most
visited spaces at INNOPROM 2025 in Yekaterinburg. The exposition featuring
products and brands from 100 manufacturers across 46 Russian regions proved
that domestic goods and traditional crafts are just as in demand as
international products.
At the
international exposition, the National Centre RUSSIA Department Store stand
served as a bridge between tradition and modernity, with each display telling a
unique story of Russia’s diverse regions.

The finest
Yelets lace has remained a symbol of Russian textile art for centuries. This
intricate craft requires exceptional patience and skill from its artisans.
Hundreds of bobbins are used to create these lace masterpieces, with each
thread – whether linen, silk or cotton – carefully selected to achieve the
perfect pattern.
The Department
Store offered a wide variety of laceworks: from delicate floral doilies to
luxurious tablecloths adorned with intricate geometric designs.
Equally
impressive were the Romanov toys – distinctive clay whistles that preserve the
warmth of the artisan’s hands and centuries-old folk traditions. These brightly
painted figures, crafted in a recognisable style, reminded visitors of the
importance of preserving cultural legacy.

results: success, recognition, and new horizons
Particularly
notable was the interest from international guests. The official delegation
from Saudi Arabia, the partner country of INNOPROM 2025, invited the Director
General of the National Centre RUSSIA, Natalia Virtuozova, to present the
exposition at INNOPROM 2026 in Riyadh. This invitation is the clearest sign yet
that Russian crafts continue to win the world’s admiration, and that the
department store stand, uniting regional producers, has opened new
opportunities for them.
At the INNOPROM 2025 International Industrial Exposition in Yekaterinburg, the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA showcased products from regional manufacturers.
