"Eurasia — Territory of Traditional Values": how shared ideals shape the future of the continent
The International Public and Business Forum "Eurasia — Territory of Traditional Values" took place at the National Centre RUSSIA. The event brought together more than 800 participants — public officials, representatives of business, education, culture, media, and public organisations. Among them were international guests from Abkhazia, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as countries across the African continent.
"The Eurasian process is a meaningful and substantial addition to the efforts being made at the state level to develop the Eurasian space and strengthen common humanitarian standards within it. This is a space inhabited by different peoples and nationalities, yet they are all inclined to treat education, culture, and the humanitarian aspects of life with great care," said Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary to the President of Russia.
As part of the forum, experts discussed the development of humanitarian ties and the role of non-profit organisations and public associations in shaping the humanitarian foundation of Eurasia. According to Maria Zakharova, Director of the Information and Press Department and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, "Eurasia" serves as an open and responsive platform for cooperation.
"ANO 'Eurasia' is a dynamic and responsive structure that reacts immediately to the needs of the peoples of our shared space. Many had long been unable to find such a partner for dialogue — accessible and operating in real time. 'Eurasia' is present in 40 countries and brings together 120,000 people — not merely those aware of its activities, but those directly involved in its projects," Maria Zakharova noted.
The central event of the forum was the plenary session "Architecture of Good Neighbourliness: The Eurasian Path to a Multipolar World", which focused on building a system of sustainable ties between countries in the region based on mutual trust and shared interests. Special attention was also given to promoting the Russian language abroad. Alyona Arshinova, Chair of the Council of ANO "Eurasia" and a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, announced the opening of a Centre for the Russian Language and Culture in Naryn, Kyrgyzstan.
"ANO 'Eurasia' centres are spaces for the development of young people, teachers, and children. The Russian language is the language of interethnic communication in Eurasia — it unites people and opens access to education, modern professional environments, and international projects. Such centres are in demand and should therefore be accessible to people across different regions of the continent," Alyona Arshinova said.
The forum’s business programme included thematic panel sessions dedicated to key areas of Eurasian development — from media and creative industries to humanitarian cooperation. At the session "Shared Memory — Shared Future: Strategies for Protecting Historical Truth in the Context of Eurasia’s Global Transformation", participants discussed practical mechanisms for safeguarding historical heritage. The forum also announced large-scale celebratory events dedicated to Victory Day.
ANO "Eurasia" contributes to the development of international cooperation. Its mission is to bring together people of different ages and professions in order to preserve traditional values, historical memory, and a shared cultural code of the peoples of Eurasia. The organisation’s flagship projects strengthen the role of the Russian language as a tool for intercultural dialogue across the continent.
