The facade of the National Centre RUSSIA in Yugra lit up in the colours of the national flag
The evening lighting design at the National Centre RUSSIA in
Yugra has been updated. Previously, the building was illuminated with flowing
light effects inspired by the northern lights, which created a distinctive
atmosphere in the evening.
Now the facade shines in the colours of the national flag of
the Russian Federation — white, blue and red. The new lighting highlights the
architectural features of the building and makes it a striking accent in the
urban landscape.
This modern lighting solution not only decorates the centre
but also symbolises respect for the country’s history, its unity and its
development.
The National Centre RUSSIA in Yugra opened in
Khanty-Mansiysk on 16 December 2025. The region combines unique natural
landscapes, careful preservation of the centuries-old traditions of the
Indigenous peoples, industrial strength and a bold vision for the future. The
centre is a modern cultural and exhibition complex. The exposition offers a
comprehensive view of the nature of Yugra, its history, its people, its culture
and its development prospects. The symbol of the branch is the loon — a sacred
image for the Indigenous peoples of the North.
