The National Centre RUSSIA in the Krasnoyarsk Territory to take part in the III All-Russian Wedding Festival
On the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, 8 July, the
National Centre RUSSIA branch in the Krasnoyarsk Territory will join the events
of the III All-Russian Wedding Festival in Moscow, where a large-scale
simultaneous wedding ceremony will be held for more than 100 couples from
across the country. Wedding ceremonies will also take place at the National
Centre RUSSIA branches in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area — Yugra and the
Primorye Territory. This is the first year that the festival will extend beyond
the capital.
Among the participants in the III All-Russian Wedding
Festival in the Krasnoyarsk Territory are Alexander Zolotuyev and Arina
Mamoshina from Zheleznogorsk. Their story began with a "bride and
groom" dance at a school fitness festival. At the time, they had no idea
that this performance would mark the beginning of a great love story. After
school, Arina studied at a university in Novosibirsk, and the couple lived in
different cities for four years. However, this only strengthened their
feelings, and when Arina completed her studies, they began building a future
together. They found jobs, started saving for their wedding and began creating
the life they had dreamt of together.
"We want to build a large and cosy home where the
people closest to us will gather. We dream of children and grandchildren, with
whom we will create our own traditions, celebrate holidays and spend time
together. Another dream of ours is to travel and gain experiences that will
remain with us for the rest of our lives. But most importantly, wherever life
may lead us, we want always to support one another, celebrate our successes
together and overcome difficulties side by side," Alexander and Arina
said.
Another couple are Kirill Kharitonkin and Diana Kudryavtseva
from Zelenogorsk. They met through mutual friends and immediately liked each
other. For a month and a half, they communicated at a distance because Diana
was temporarily living in Krasnoyarsk at the time. When she returned to her
home town, the couple began living together and bought a house, which they are
now renovating. They also go snowboarding, an interest they developed after
meeting. Kirill plays volleyball, while Diana enjoys attending his training
sessions and competitions.
"For us, family means support, stability and continuing
the family line. We always try to understand each other, learn to talk things
through and make compromises. We are happily preparing for the wedding and
dream of completing the house together and moving into it. We want to have two
or three children because we both come from large families. We will enjoy life,
travel and grow together," Kirill and Diana said.
Alexander Chibisov and Lyubov Grigoryeva will also marry at
the National Centre RUSSIA in Krasnoyarsk. They met online in 2025 and immediately
felt a mutual attraction. After a week of communicating online, they went on
their first date. Alexander won Lyubov over with his care and attentiveness,
his willingness to support her during difficult times and celebrate her
successes with her. He was attracted by Lyubov’s kindness, beauty and positive
outlook. The couple love animals. Alexander has a female cat and Lyubov has a
male cat, and now they all live together.
"We have two key rules. The first is to do everything
together: clean together, watch films together and raise children together. The
second is to love, and love is expressed through actions. Without nurturing a
relationship, expressing gratitude to each other and spending time together,
love cannot survive. We dream of carrying our love and mutual understanding
throughout our lives," Alexander and Lyubov shared.
Roman Kozlov and Yulia Potanina from Krasnoyarsk met during
a hike to Mount Argydzhek. At first they were friends, but the more they learnt
about each other, the more they discovered they had in common. For example,
both were born in Siberia, while their parents had moved to the Krasnoyarsk
Territory from the Bryansk Region. Hiking naturally brought the couple even
closer.
"We believe that a family is not walls but people and
the warmth they radiate. We were brought closer by life on the trail and trips
to different parts of Russia, including Khakassia, Buryatia, the Kuturchinskoye
Belogorye and other places. During a hike to the Divnogorskaya Vidovka
viewpoint, we clearly realised that we wanted to be together, and we have been
inseparable ever since," Roman and Yulia recalled.
Vadim Matsnev and Marina Shagayeva have also decided to
become husband and wife. They have been together for six years. They met at
work at the Krasnoyarsk branch of a major media holding company: Marina was a
brand manager in the promotion and distribution department, while Vadim worked
in the editorial office. Although they left their beloved workplace long ago,
they remain immensely grateful to fate for bringing them together there. In May
2026, the couple travelled to Moscow for the holidays, and it was there, on Red
Square, that Vadim proposed to Marina.
"Family is a place where you are always welcome, where
the doors are always open to you and where someone is always waiting for you.
It is a place that remains warm and cosy even during the harshest Siberian
frosts. You do not need to wear any masks there; you will be understood without
words. This is exactly the atmosphere of warmth and love that we will create in
our new family," Marina and Vadim said.
In the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, declared by
President Vladimir Putin, the festival’s central theme is "United in
Love" — the unity of hearts, cultures, traditions and values.
The special project "Bread and Love" is devoted to gastronomic traditions that unite hearts.
Student life is a vibrant and romantic time for young people, and the love stories of Russian Student Teams members prove it.
On the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, representatives of Russia’s indigenous minority peoples will marry at the National Centre RUSSIA.
