Heroes of science in focus: Tula region presented inspiring portraits of young scientists at the National Centre RUSSIA
On 16 September, as part of Tula Region Days at the exposition "Region-2030. Platform of the Future" in the National Centre RUSSIA, the photo exposition "Faces of Science" opened.
The display features photo portraits of young scientists from Tula working in various fields — humanities, natural sciences and engineering — in the laboratories of Tula universities.
The project is aimed at popularising the profession of scientist, highlighting its relevance and appeal.
"It is a very inspiring exposition, though a small one. In every face you can see dedication and the pursuit of discovery. True drivers of progress and our pride," shared a visitor to the National Centre RUSSIA, Moscow resident Inna Ponomareva.
Visitors note that such projects can spark young people’s interest in science, showing that behind groundbreaking discoveries stand bright personalities and enthusiasts.
"Expositions like this break the stereotype of scientists as dull laboratory workers. Here you see that science is about real people with sparkling eyes and great charisma. Looking at them makes you want to do research too," admitted student Alexei.
Tula Region Days at the exposition "Region-2030. Platform of the Future" in the National Centre RUSSIA are running from 16 to 21 September.
