The year's leading IT event to take place at the National Centre RUSSIA
The annual "Digital Solutions" IT Forum will take place from 6 to 10 October 2026 at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow. This year, the forum will be held with international status for the first time. It is expected to welcome up to 20,000 participants, including representatives from more than 100 countries.
"Russia's IT sector has entered a new stage of development. We have moved beyond replacing foreign solutions with domestic alternatives to building our own technological foundation and developing Russian IT products with unique functionality. These products not only meet the needs of the domestic market but also demonstrate strong competitiveness and export potential. The Digital Solutions Forum has become the key platform for showcasing the country's best IT solutions. It brings together representatives of business and government to exchange best practices and review the annual progress made in advancing digital technologies," said Deputy Prime Minister of Russia and Chief of the Government Staff Dmitry Grigorenko.
The forum will bring together representatives of government, business and the IT community. The business programme will feature more than 120 sessions and over 700 speakers.
Discussion topics over the five-day programme:
1. Digital infrastructure: telecommunications, data centres, IT hardware and smart home solutions.
2. Digital platforms: marketplaces, aggregators and classified platforms, online banking and the Gosuslugi public services portal.
3. Artificial intelligence and cloud services: AI technologies, cloud platforms and autonomous unmanned systems.
4. Cybersecurity and software: information security solutions, combating cyber fraud, Russian software, and both system and application software.
5. Educational platforms and entertainment services: digital skills training centres, career platforms, educational services, social media, online cinemas, gaming platforms and video aggregation services.
What else awaits visitors
Throughout the forum, leading technology companies will showcase their cutting-edge IT solutions to visitors. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the latest technologies already being used across a wide range of industries. The display will feature six interactive zones, each reflecting one of the forum's key thematic areas.
The programme for the general public will include digital literacy workshops, IT quests, career consultations, vocational guidance assessments, as well as gaming and lounge areas.
For the first time, the Second Global Digital Forum will also be held as part of Digital Solutions. It will take place at the "Mechta" ("Dream") complex in Gorky Park and will bring together international delegations comprising heads of specialised ministries, representatives of IT companies and start-ups, IT professionals, journalists and bloggers. The programme will include bilateral meetings, expert sessions, seminars, workshops, cultural events and other activities. Representatives of all friendly countries have been invited to participate.
Forum history
The Digital Solutions IT Forum was first held from 12 to 15 November 2025 at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow. The event attracted more than 15,000 visitors, becoming the largest industry event of the year.
Following the forum, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin issued a number of instructions aimed at supporting the development of Russia's domestic IT sector and strengthening the country's technological sovereignty. These included updating the communications industry development strategy, introducing additional measures to promote the substitution of imported radio-electronic equipment, preparing a roadmap for exporting Russian products and solutions through digital platforms, and developing a pilot project enabling customs documentation to be submitted via digital platforms.
The forum is organised by the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, with the support from the Government of the Russian Federation. The project operator is the ANO "National Priorities", while the forum's business programme is organised by the ANO "Digital Economy".
