Visitors to the International RUSSIA EXPO took part in a master class on playing the domra, balalaika and bayan. The event was held by Dmitry Dmitrienko, chief conductor of the L.G. Zykina Ensemble "Russia".
The conductor of the ensemble Dmitry Dmitrienko not only gave a lesson in playing the domra, balalaika and bayan, but also told the participants of the master class about how these folk instruments appeared, how they differ from each other and from other instruments that are played on today. In addition, he shared a story about the Russian musician, composer, balalaika virtuoso Vasily Andreev, who in 1888 created the Great Russian Orchestra - the world's first orchestra of folk instruments. Soloists of the Ensemble "Russia" named after L.G. Zykina also performed for the guests.
The master class was held in the "Our Culture" pavilion. It also hosts conferences, master classes and other popular science events for children and adults, scientists, teachers, students, Moscow residents and guests.
Guests will learn how contemporary characters are created and why modern writers increasingly turn to the genre of utopia.
Educational instruments created by a school teacher to explain the movement of the Earth to children are now presented at the "Geography Lessons".
