Voices of the Voronezh region: male choir ART’O’DOX to perform at the National Centre RUSSIA
On 13 September, the National Centre RUSSIA will host the concert programme "Voronezh — City of Russia" performed by the male choir of the Voronezh Philharmonic, ART’O’DOX.
The event will take place within the Days of the Voronezh region at the exposition "Region-2030. Platform of the Future" and will showcase the cultural colour of the region.
The male choir ART’O’DOX is one of the oldest and most renowned creative ensembles of the Voronezh region, a laureate of international competitions and a finalist of the television show "All Together Now!".
The concert programme will feature patriotic and lyrical works reflecting the richness of Russian musical tradition. Guests will hear both well-known compositions — "I Look at Blue Lakes", "Enchanted Distance" and "I Love You, Life" — and contemporary rock hits: "Sky of the Slavs", "Fog" and "I Am Russian". Special emphasis will be placed on the songs "No Soldiers Like Russians Are Known to the World", "Forward, Russia!" and "None More Beautiful Than You".
The ART’O’DOX choir was founded in 1990. The ensemble has gained recognition at major choral forums in Russia and abroad, took part in the International Festival in Memory of Anthony of Sourozh in London and Manchester, the International Choral Competition "Heart of Choirs" in Shanghai, Victory Day celebratory concerts in Berlin, as well as the Moscow Easter Festival conducted by Valery Gergiev.
