Guests from 22 countries visited the National Centre RUSSIA’s tours
Since the
opening of the National Centre RUSSIA, numerous international guests from
Spain, Brazil, China, Turkey, America, the UAE, India, Japan, and other
countries have attended its tours. They explored the expositions under the
guidance of the centre's tour guides and learned many fascinating facts about
Russia, its scientific and cultural achievements.
Guests
visited the "Library of the Future," where they got acquainted with
the works of famous science fiction writers and discovered their visions of the
world of tomorrow. In the "Hall of Inventions," foreign visitors traced
the history of technological advancements and saw how innovations from
different eras are linked to literary works. The tour concluded at the
"Legacy for the Future" exposition, showcasing paintings, sculptures,
art objects, photographs, and short animated films by young artists from six
countries — Russia, China, India, Brazil, Ethiopia, and Iran.
The tour,
led by guide Maria Sorokina, left a lasting impression on guests from Israel.
They were particularly fascinated by the section featuring an exoskeleton and a
prosthetic limb. The visitors noted that the exposition presented Russia as
part of the global community — for example, through the futuristic predictions
of both Russian and foreign authors in the "Library of the Future."
A
Russian-French family visited the National Centre RUSSIA. One of the
international guests was impressed to find works by his compatriot Jules Verne
among the items, including the rare novel Paris in the Twentieth Century, which
was never published during the author's lifetime.
Currently,
the National Centre RUSSIA offers two outdoor tours for visitors: "Moscow
City: A View into the Sky," dedicated to the capital's main business
district, and "The Connecting Thread of Eras," which allows guests to
enjoy a walk along the Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment and learn about the
history of this famous Moscow district.
New
large-scale projects at the National Centre RUSSIA will launch on March 1.
"Journey Across Russia" will showcase the achievements and natural
beauty of all federal districts of the country. Additionally, the gastronomic
space "Journey Across Russia: Food" and the architectural exposition
"The Birth of Scale" will open to visitors.
