Guests of the RUSSIA EXPO took part in a massive flash mob to the composition "Beautiful Far Away"
On April
13, a mass dance flash mob took place in Pavilion No. 75. The artists performed
a dance together with the guests of the RUSSIA EXPO at the stands of the
Russian regions to a modern arrangement of the famous musical composition
"Beautiful Far Away" by composer Yevgeny Krylatov to lyrics by poet
Yuri Entin. It was first performed in the movie "Guest from the
Future" in 1985.
The flash
mob started at all the stands of Pavilion No. 75 and hundreds of people took
part in it. As the song sounded, the flash mob spread throughout the entire
pavilion, with guests merging in a single dance.
During the flash mob each visitor had an opportunity not only to dance to their favorite melody, but also to sing their favorite verses of the song together with the members of the choir. The most active participants of the flash mob received gifts from the RUSSIA EXPO Directorate - badges and notebooks.
The series of dance flash mobs at the Exposition was opened with the event "Charge to the Future", which took place on April 12, Cosmonautics Day, to the work of Soviet composer Georgy Sviridov "Time Forward" in a modern arrangement. Similar events will now be held at the Exposition on a permanent basis - every Saturday at 17.00.
The qualities that set heroes of Russian cinema apart from Western ones lie in their role as carriers of meaning and traditional values.
The event formed part of the scientific and business programme of the National Film Award Forum "Heroes of a Great Country".
Dr Parag Khanna shared his personal experience and observations with Maxim Oreshkin and spoke about the importance of integration and cooperation between different regions and peoples.
