The MOHITO band performed at the National Centre RUSSIA in honour of the Spring and Labour Day
A musical celebration featuring the popular band MOHITO took place at the National Centre RUSSIA on 1 May as part of the original project "In the Rhythm of Russia." The concert was held in the Gastronomic Rows of the National Centre RUSSIA. Guests heard musical hits by the band, including "Hands Off," "That’s How Life Goes," and "Happiness in Simplicity," which topped the streaming charts. Visitors also enjoyed a DJ set and explored the "Journey Through Russia. Food" zone, featuring dishes from various regional cuisines.
MOHITO is a creative duo of Diana Obolashvili, a participant of "The Voice" project on Leonid Agutin's team, and Vlad Sudarevsky, a songwriter and performer. Diana is from the town of Prokhladny (Kabardino-Balkaria), while Vlad is from Belgorod.
According to the artists, the project "In the Rhythm of Russia" helps bring people together through music.
"First and foremost, projects like 'In the Rhythm of Russia' are necessary so that different nationalities and peoples can learn about each other and each other's traditions," said Diana Obolashvili.
"We are performing at the National Centre RUSSIA for the first time. The atmosphere is great, and it’s very exciting to take part in such an event. In general, discovering the culture of different Russian regions is really amazing," said Vlad Sudarevsky.
He added that the most memorable trip around Russia for him was his journey to Kamchatka, where he was impressed by the natural beauty. Diana Obolashvili named two cities that left a special impression on her.
"I’m from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, but I’m Georgian. The culture of Kabardino-Balkaria is very dear to me, it’s so fascinating — I’ve always loved it. And the second city that surprised me was Yakutsk. We lived and performed there — it was very interesting," the artist shared.
MOHITO has appeared on radio and TV. The band's songs receive over three million monthly streams on Yandex Music alone.
