"I spent hours examining the models": visitors of "The Birth of Scale" exposition shared their impressions
Guests of the architectural exposition "The Birth of
Scale" at the National Centre RUSSIA shared their impressions and emotions
after exploring the history of architecture in our country. The exposition
features realised architectural projects, as well as ideas that remained only
as concepts. The exposition includes both items from the National Centre
RUSSIA’s own collection and those provided by museums and private collectors
from across the country.
According to visitors of the National Centre RUSSIA, the
exposition impresses with its scale and attention to detail.
"I really enjoyed the architectural exposition; it is
truly monumental. What stood out most to me was the section about Moscow and
St. Petersburg. The Palace of Soviets, which was supposed to be built, also
amazes with its scale, the way it was meant to be," shared her impressions
guest of the National Centre RUSSIA, Darya.
Each visitor to the exposition can find items, models, and
stories related to unique projects by great Russian architects that resonate
personally with them.
"'The Birth of Scale' exposition at the National Centre
RUSSIA impressed me because it allowed me to learn about Russian architecture
and its history. I was especially surprised by the number of models displayed
at the exposition. I particularly enjoyed the Stalinist skyscrapers. The models
are presented on a rather large scale, which I really liked. I spent hours
examining them. It was very interesting," shared his emotions visitor
Ivan.
"The Birth of Scale" exposition is open to both
young and adult visitors. Architecture enthusiasts can dive into the history of
these masterpieces together with professional guides from the National Centre
RUSSIA.
"It was interesting to see the development of Russian
architecture. We learned a lot of new things. I really liked the project in the
Far North, where a micro-city was created under a dome," shared his
impressions guest of the National Centre RUSSIA, Dmitry.
