Berry jelly with seaweed, cloudberry sauce and ryazhenka from the Russian oven: try unique flavors at the Farmers Fair
Pavilion No. 48 will delight with new products, unusual tastes and gourmet treats from January 30 to February 4. Farmers from Karelia, Ryazan, Voronezh, Leningrad, Volgograd and Vologda regions will welcome the guests of the International RUSSIA EXPO. The assortment includes cheese, mushroom and berry preserves, dairy products and healthy sweets.
This week is a real treat for sweets lovers. Karelian producers are famous for natural berry products with incredible flavor and health benefits. You can try and buy berry bases for morses, vitamin cloudberry sauces and jams, marmalade with reduced sugar content and sugar-free pastila, as well as unusual berry jelly with seaweed from the White Sea.
The "Belonogov'" brand from the Leningrad region will delight with mushroom products, which are badly missed at the end of winter. The small family production has been reviving traditions of gathering, processing and harvesting mushrooms, which are collected by hand exclusively in ecologically clean areas for several years. Dried, pickled and salted mushrooms will please not only with taste, but also with health benefits, they are rich in antioxidants and vitamins (B1, B2, D), as well as selenium and potassium.
Several producers from all over the country presented their best cheeses. Cheese workshop "Frenchwoman" will surely impress fans of cheeses with white mold: camembert, brie and barrel. And for the "Pyramid" cheese the cheese shop even won "gold" at the international competition Mondial du Fromage in France. Those who prefer Italian cheeses should definitely try the softest creamy burrata from "Kotelnikovo Cheese Factory", as well as airy ricotta and briny mozzarella from the brand "Taste of the North".
Ryazhenka from the Russian oven, kefir on natural fungi, cottage cheese and cottage cheese pastry will be offered by the Ryazan brand: "Dairy Yard on Mervino". All products are handmade according to old Russian recipes on a small family production. The basis is only natural milk from the best farms in the region.
