International participants of the "Inventing the Future" Symposium continue arriving in Moscow. The Directorate of the National Centre RUSSIA organized unique tours especially for them.

The foreigners are expressing admiration for Russian culture, history, and traditions, highlighting the spirituality, warmth, and kindness of the Russian people, as well as sharing their expectations for the Symposium.

"The first things that impressed me upon arriving in Russia were the humility, friendliness, and readiness of the people to help. I also feel a strong connection to your remarkable culture and traditions, and I believe this Symposium will help many gain a better understanding of Russia," said Milan Kumar Lal, Senior Researcher at the Rice Institute of India.

At the "Inventing the Future" Symposium, the guest from India will be a speaker at the roundtable discussion, "Food Security and the Food of the Future."

"In our research foundation, we are working on a project that could benefit both India and Russia. Russia is active in cultivating potatoes and sugar beets, while India produces rice, sugarcane, and also potatoes. We are developing technologies that will enable farmers to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change and increase the production of potatoes, rice, and other crops. This will lay the groundwork for strengthening cooperation between Russia and India," emphasized Milan Kumar Lal.

John Molera, Director of Policy and Research at DD Geopolitics from the United States, also highlighted the exceptional spiritual warmth and hospitality of the Russian people.

"We are taught to fear and avoid places like Russia, yet here I am welcomed with open arms. I feel at home here. It’s truly a unique place, full of warmth and kindness. I feel like part of this community. Moscow itself is a remarkable blend of history and outlook into the future, reflecting a new multipolar world that is forming before our eyes. At this pivotal moment, as the world moves away from a unipolar system dominated by Western powers and the United States, Moscow is once again becoming the heart of humanity," noted John Molera.

As one of the keynote speakers, John Molera will participate in the open discussion "The Future of Family: Involvement, Responsibility, Traditions." Ahead of the Symposium, he emphasized that preserving traditional family values in Russia holds special significance for the world.

"In some countries, such as the United States, there are political movements that seek to undermine the family structure or promote non-traditional values. However, the family remains the most genuine and organic structure that binds us together," asserted John Molera.

On July 1, 2024, President Vladimir Putin signed an order to establish the National Centre RUSSIA to preserve the legacy of the RUSSIA EXPO and showcase the country's achievements on a permanent basis.

From November 4 to 6, the National Centre RUSSIA will host the International Symposium "Inventing the Future." The participants will include scientists and researchers, futurologists and forecasters, science fiction writers, and representatives of the authorities.

The Symposium will become a unique international platform for open dialog, where the scenarios of human development and global challenges of our time will be discussed. The program includes more than 60 events in four areas: the future of human, the future of technology, the future of the multipolar world, and the future of civilization.

The event will be attended by scientists, futurists, government and business representatives from 100 countries, including Austria, Argentina, India, China, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and others – over 400 international participants in total.

The Symposium program is published on the website future.russia.ru. Broadcasts of the events will also be available there during the days of the Symposium.

As part of the opening of the Symposium, an exposition will be launched that will support the idea of a human-centric dialogue about the future of the world. The exposition will allow each visitor to realize the importance of personal contribution to the future.
