Yu Qun on Russian goods at INNOPROM 2025: "The best I’ve seen!"
On July 9,
Mr Yu Qun, Chairman of the Harbin Foreign Economic and Trade Group, visited the
stand of the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA at the INNOPROM
2025 International Industrial Exposition. He praised the range and quality of
the goods presented and shared which items impressed him the most.
"I
often visit Russia. I am especially fond of Yekaterinburg: this is not my first
time in the city. Today, many shops in Harbin sell Russian goods. However, I
was amazed by the quality, uniqueness and variety of the products showcased at
the Department Store RUSSIA," said Yu Qun.
Russian-Chinese
relations are currently experiencing a period of dynamic growth. This was once
again demonstrated at the stand of the department store of the National Centre
RUSSIA at the INNOPROM 2025 International Industrial Exposition. On the first
day of the event, July 7, the Chinese delegation became the most numerous among
foreign guests visiting the stand.
Yu Qun,
Chairman of the Harbin Foreign Economic and Trade Group, was especially drawn
to the sweets.
"I
really enjoyed the chocolate, pastila and grilled nuts, as well as the various
types of tea from the 'Groceries' section, traditional Russian toys and
accessories," he emphasised.
Mr Yu noted
that these goods are currently incredibly popular in China. Notably, at the
stand, the esteemed guest not only explored the products but also selected
gifts for his family and friends.
As
presents, Yu Qun chose sweets, tea, and a luxurious matryoshka doll
hand-painted by craftsmen from the Moscow region.
At the end
of his visit, the entrepreneur promised to visit the National Centre RUSSIA in
Moscow and expressed confidence in the continued strengthening and development
of Russian-Chinese relations.
The Department Store stand in Yekaterinburg features products from around 100 manufacturers from 46 Russian regions. The goods are organised into four thematic categories: "Groceries," "Accessories," "Folk Crafts and Trades," and "Cosmetics."
Mr. Yu Qun is a Chinese entrepreneur and the head of the Harbin Foreign Trade Group. He is a frequent visitor to Russia and knows the local markets well.

During the all-Russian survey "What does the Motherland begin with?", people across the country are answering this question in their own way, opening up the innermost corners of their souls.
Souvenir nevalyashkas (traditional Russian roly-poly dolls), are attracting particular attention, with guests choosing them for their harmonious combination of Russian colour and traditional Chinese symbols.
Under the guidance of artisans, each guest made an unusual souvenir that can become either a personal talisman or a gift with a special story.
