From March 26 to 28, the IV Congress of the Movement of the First will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA. More than 2,000 participants from 89 regions of the country will attend, including educators, mentors, members of the Coordinating, Supervisory, and Scientific-Methodological Councils of the Movement of the First, representatives of the International Association of Children's Organizations, and honorary guests.

The Congress is the highest governing body of the Movement of the First. It brings together activists of different ages to collectively address the organization’s pressing issues and determine future directions. The main objectives of the Congress are to showcase the work of children's and youth organizations, highlight the heroic deeds of Russian patriots, and demonstrate the engagement of the younger generation in shaping the present and future of the country.

The IV Congress of the Movement of the First will open on March 26 with a show concert reflecting the concept of "Friendship as the foundation of family, country, and peace." The program will feature performances by artists from the Choir of the First and the creative platform of the Movement of the First, "Zvuchi" ("Sound").

The main event of the second day of the Congress will be a meeting where participants will discuss key issues related to the organization’s development. Additionally, events dedicated to World Theatre Day will take place, including creative performances by children's groups.

A working session on the declaration of the establishment of the International Association of Children's Organizations (IACO) will be held in a roundtable format. Representatives of international youth organizations will present reports and proposals. Additionally, schoolchildren participating in the Movement and involved in international projects will suggest their own activity ideas and formats for IACO.

An expanded meeting of the Scientific-Methodological Council will focus on the scientific and theoretical support for the development of the Movement of the First. Special attention will be given to improving the Council's expert work and creating methodological recommendations on key aspects of education within the children's and youth environment.

During the Congress, the Movement of the First and the Russian society Znanie will sign a roadmap. This document will serve as the foundation for joint efforts in education, the development of educational projects, and the expansion of opportunities for children and youth in Russia.

The Congress program will also include the signing of a cooperation agreement with the "Healthy Fatherland" movement, a press conference summarizing the results of the "New Year Tree of Wishes — 2024/2025" campaign, and the launch of the sixth season of one of the organization's flagship projects — the "Bolshaya Peremena" ("Big Change") competition.

At the opening of the new season, speeches will be delivered by First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of Russia Sergei Kiriyenko, Chairman of the Board of the Movement of the First Arthur Orlov, and Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) Grigory Gurov.

Congress participants can expect a rich educational program featuring masterclasses, motivational meetings, tours of the National Centre RUSSIA, and other activities. Among the program's speakers will be veterans of the Special Military Operation, Heroes of Russia, People's Artists of the Russian Federation, distinguished political figures, and prominent public opinion leaders.
