How cosmonauts fulfill children's dreams: meeting with a Hero of Russia will take place at the Exposition April 13
It is no
secret that the space of the International RUSSIA EXPO is a place to meet
incredible people from the world of culture and business, politics and other
spheres. Among other things, every Saturday at the Roscosmos exposition the
already traditional meetings with cosmonauts are held. This time it will be
possible to talk to Sergei Kud-Sverchkov, Hero of Russia, cosmonaut of
Roscosmos, ambassador of the Unity Foundation.
Unity
Foundation helps people with cancer to enjoy life, realize themselves and
fulfill their dreams. Cosmonauts also support the good deeds of the foundation.
At the meeting Sergei Kud-Sverchkov will tell what and to whom cosmonauts
write, how messages get from Earth to the ISS, and how space fulfills the
dreams of children with cancer.
At the meeting it will be possible to ask questions to the cosmonaut and to get charged with the energy of space from the unique spacesuit "Victory" with children's dreams, which recently returned from the ISS. Sergei will present memorable space gifts for the best, most interesting and unusual questions.
It should be noted that Kud-Sverchkov first went into space in 2020 on the Soyuz MS-17 spacecraft together with Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergei Ryzhikov and NASA astronaut Kathleen Rubins. During that flight, an "ultra-fast" two-turn approach scheme was used for the first time, which allowed the spacecraft to reach the ISS and dock with the Rassvet module in just 3 hours and 3 minutes.
