Cossack songs, Krasnodar designers and art project honoring the Year of the Family: how Krasnodar will delight guests of the RUSSIA EXPO
In the final days of the International RUSSIA EXPO, on July
6-7, the Krasnodar region stand in Pavilion No. 75 will host Krasnodar Days.
This centre of resort, agricultural and youth activities will showcase its main
achievements to guests.
During the upcoming weekend, visitors to the Exposition can
participate in the art project "We Paint Krasnodar" and create a
painting dedicated to the Year of the Family. The stand will also host
masterclasses in gold embroidery. Krasnodar craftswomen will teach everyone how
to create delicate patterns using the filigree lace embroidery technique. By
attending the felting lessons, visitors can learn how to create toys, dolls and
accessories themselves. And take home a souvenir. Additionally, designers from
the southern capital will showcase their latest collections of clothing and
accessories in the "Krasnodar Style" fashion show.
The stand will also highlight the achievements of the Kuban
capital in various fields. Mayor Evgeny Naumov will present the brand book of
Krasnodar. Visitors can participate in quizzes to test their knowledge of the
city's past and present. Those who give the most correct answers will win a
trip for two to personally explore the regional centre.
The special atmosphere of Krasnodar Days will be enhanced by
performances from local creative groups. Guests will enjoy musical compositions
in two different genres — traditional Cossack songs and jazz — and appreciate
the talent of Krasnodar artists.
During the all-Russian survey "What does the Motherland begin with?", people across the country are answering this question in their own way, opening up the innermost corners of their souls.
Souvenir nevalyashkas (traditional Russian roly-poly dolls), are attracting particular attention, with guests choosing them for their harmonious combination of Russian colour and traditional Chinese symbols.
Under the guidance of artisans, each guest made an unusual souvenir that can become either a personal talisman or a gift with a special story.
