Everyone can vote for "Space of the Future" and cast their vote for the best projects of Russia's regions

The Days of Regional Development "Space of the Future" were launched at the RUSSIA EXPO. Ekaterina Zefirova, Head of the Business Program of the RUSSIA EXPO, explained why this ambitious event is interesting for regions, investors and the country as a whole.

The "Space of the Future" forum will cover the whole country and emphasize the uniqueness and identity of each region through promising ideas. For more productive and coordinated work, the subjects of the Russian Federation were divided into 13 macroregions on economic grounds, in accordance with the Strategy of Spatial Development of the Russian Federation.

"We consulted with industry experts and highlighted the dominant areas for each region and for macro-territories. In most cases it is either industrial or infrastructural development, in some cases tourism is the main vector of development, and in some cases it is agriculture. This allows us to make the program for the next month and a half as diverse as possible, interesting both for the region's residents and businesses, and for potential investors," explains Ekaterina Zefirova.

Regions will present their development plans, reveal their investment potential and announce the best projects at the RUSSIA EXPO. Discussions will be organized on key topics of economic and social development, strengthening human resources potential and fostering a healthy society. The forum will pay important attention to interregional cooperation, joint projects affecting several regions at once, as well as government support.

"We are in communication both with the relevant ministries and the offices of deputy prime ministers, so that the government can state why a particular macroregion is important for the development of industries," specified the head of the business program of the RUSSIA EXPO.

All citizens of the country can contribute to the forum. The 200 most promising projects of the regions are presented on the Achievements.RF (Достижения.РФ) portal. Every citizen of Russia can cast their vote for their native regions and its initiative.

"We invite all residents to open voting - to support the projects of their region. Registration is very simple; it is enough to sign up through the VK site. More than 200 thousand votes have already been cast, it's nice that citizens support the initiators. The projects that will get the maximum votes within the macroregion will be presented on-site at the RUSSIA EXPO," said Ekaterina Zefirova.

According to the head of the RUSSIA EXPO business program, the goal of the "Space of the Future" forum is to draw attention to what the regions are doing. To loudly proclaim to the entire country the significant achievements they are about to accomplish in the near future.

"The palette of those projects that are interesting for the regions, interregional cooperation and external investors is limitless. We will try to cover all the issues," Ekaterina Zefirova concluded.
