On May 19, the RUSSIA EXPO in Moscow hosted a show of fashion collections by Kirov designers. The collections, made in Russian folk style, are dedicated to the 650th anniversary of the city of Kirov. The show took place in Pavilion No. 75 at the stand of the Kirov region.
Thus, the “Cultural Code” collection by Kirov designer Elizaveta Koryakina is an embodiment of native Russian and Vyatka traditions in modern costume. The collection is made of natural fabrics using the classics of Pavlov Posad shawls.
In exclusive models one can see motifs of Russian folk costume of the late XIX - early XX century and at the same time elements of today's fashion trends. According to the author, her collection of products made of “Grunya” drape was highly appreciated by the famous Russian fashion designer Vyacheslav Zaitsev.
The show also featured the author's design - a T-shirt “Kirov Girl” with a watercolor print. The model is dedicated to the 650th anniversary of Kirov. Let us remind you that the song “Kirov Girl”, written by Kirov musician Sergei Yamshinin, was performed on one of the federal channels by the famous singer Igor Sarukhanov.
Another Kirov designer Anna Khodyreva presented her collection of women's clothing made of linen “Kaleidoscope”.
