Representatives from 87 countries — including speakers, delegates, artists, diplomats, and journalists — will attend the International Symposium "Inventing the Future," as announced by Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA.

Over 400 international attendees have confirmed their participation in the Symposium, including ambassadors from 61 countries. They will take part in the panel discussion "The Future of a Multipolar World," where the keynote speakers will be the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergei Lavrov, and the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation, Maxim Oreshkin.

International participants are already arriving in Moscow. They get to know the country and share their expectations for the "Inventing the Future" Symposium.

"We will be addressing many security issues because we are living in a world full of challenges and risks. All of us –scientists, journalists, and writers - need to find answers to many questions about the future," said Predrag Ceranic, Dean of the Faculty of Security at the University of Banja Luka, who will join the "Cyber-Secure World of the Future" session.

"The International Symposium 'Inventing the Future' will serve as a platform for dialogue. It’s very meaningful for the National Centre RUSSIA that its inaugural event has generated such acute interest. Representatives from 87 countries have responded to our call to invent the future together. We are grateful to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and everyone helping to make this important event possible," said Tatiana Kareva, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the National Centre RUSSIA.

On July 1, 2024, President Vladimir Putin signed an order to establish the National Centre RUSSIA to preserve the legacy of the RUSSIA EXPO and showcase the country's achievements on a permanent basis.

From November 4 to 6, the National Centre RUSSIA will host the International Symposium "Inventing the Future." The participants will include scientists and researchers, futurologists and forecasters, science fiction writers, and representatives of the authorities.

The Symposium will become a unique international platform for open dialog, where the scenarios of human development and global challenges of our time will be discussed. The program includes more than 60 events in four areas: the future of human, the future of technology, the future of the multipolar world and the future of civilization.

Participants from all continents will gather at the Symposium, creating an open forum for the exchange of experiences and knowledge among representatives of diverse cultures and nations. The Symposium will bring together over 3,000 attendees from SCO, BRICS, CIS countries, and beyond. Among the participant countries are Austria, Argentina, Armenia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Egypt, India, Spain, Italy, Iran, China, Canada, Kuwait, the USA, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Syria, Turkey, France, and others.

The Symposium program is published on the website future.russia.ru. Broadcasts of the events will also be available there during the days of the Symposium.

As part of the opening of the Symposium, an exposition will be launched that will support the idea of a human-centric dialogue about the future of the world. The exposition will allow each visitor to realize the importance of personal contribution to the future.
