Rugs, poufs, and pillows — items to refresh your interior for spring at the Department Store
At the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA, in the home goods section, you can find handmade rugs, throws, and pillows with unique embroidery, as well as distinctive poufs from the Kaliningrad region.
The family brand Pufliki has been creating poufs for children for several years. They are comfortable, functional, and designed in the shape of animals — hippos, zebras, bunnies, and lions — that children adore. The brand uses eco-friendly and hypoallergenic materials: the fabric is easy to clean, and the sturdy frame allows the pouf to support up to 100 kilograms.
"These charming poufs became a favorite among our visitors during the RUSSIA EXPO. We are very happy that they are now available at the Department Store of the National Centre. It is especially delightful that this is a family brand — parents created a product for their children, and today, Pufliki are known even beyond their home region, the Kaliningrad region," said Maria, a consultant at the Department Store.
One of the simplest ways to refresh your interior is to add a couple of decorative pillows. The department store features velvet pillows: "Bunny Methodius" and "Bunny Sophia" with golden embroidery from the brand Gorlitsa-Art. The pillows come in fresh shades — terracotta, light green, and mustard, as well as soft powdery tones. A unique choice would be the jacquard pillows with the designer print "Cossack Steppe." In this pattern, the creator of the brand Polar Willow tells a story of a journey along the Khoper River, where wild horses gallop across the fields, tearing through the early morning mist.
Rugs and throws bring warmth and create a cozy atmosphere, which is especially important in spring when the weather remains unpredictable. Woolen knitted throws from the Karachay-Cherkessia-based brand Knitman are particularly popular in the department store. They are soft, warm, and come in trendy colors: fashionable "cappuccino," perfect for spring "sky blue," and delicate "powder pink." Each throw comes with a suede holder.
Bright rugs from the Siberian Carpet Factory will not only keep you warm but also lift your spirits. Each piece is handwoven using natural materials. The production process incorporates weaving techniques dating back to the 18th century. The pile is made entirely of wool, while the base consists of cotton thread. A distinctive feature of Siberian carpets is their floral motifs, symbolizing the fertility of the land.
As a reminder, the spring season has arrived at the department store of the National Centre RUSSIA. In March, the space was expanded and redesigned in a spring-inspired style featuring elements of traditional Mikhailovskoye lace — an artisanal craft from the Ryazan region. Additionally, the department store has introduced a new "Fashion" zone. It showcases works from fashion artist and PhD in Art History Sergey Sysoev’s Fall-Winter 2024/25 collection, as well as designs by students from the SERGEY SYSOEV Fashion School at Kosygin Russian State University.
The integration of special military operation veterans into peaceful life and the interaction between regions and municipalities were discussed as part of the Forum "SMALL HOMELAND – THE STRENGTH OF RUSSIA".
The second All-Russian Municipal Forum "Small Homeland – the Strength of Russia" is taking place at the National Centre RUSSIA.
