Strong families are our new trend: participants of the Wedding Festival are ready to say "I do!" at the National Centre RUSSIA
Final
preparations are underway for the opening of the II All-Russian Wedding
Festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts," which will take place from July 8
to 10 at the National Centre RUSSIA. This unique event will mark the beginning
of family life for over 200 couples from across the country. The future
newlyweds met with the festival organisers and got acquainted with the National
Centre RUSSIA.
"The
National Centre RUSSIA will turn into a space of family, love and fidelity for
these three days. Guests will experience the full diversity of wedding culture
in our country: from national costumes to traditional dishes, from educational
lectures to workshops. We welcome not only newlyweds, but everyone who shares
traditional family values. With this festival, we hope to make strong families
a new trend and a conscious choice for the younger generation, as this is not
only about personal happiness and family continuity, but also an important
contribution to the future of our country. Special thanks go to the Government
of Moscow and the city registry offices, with whom we are holding this
important event," said Anastasia Zvyagina, Deputy Director General of the
National Centre RUSSIA.
Festival
participants are eagerly anticipating the solemn moment. For each of them, the
opportunity to marry at such a large-scale and meaningful event is a special
honour and a source of pride. The soon-to-be newlyweds, representing different
regions of Russia, are already supporting one another warmly, exchanging wishes
for happiness and longevity.
The
festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts" will become a true celebration of
family values, where everyone can find inspiration for building a strong and
happy union. Participants and guests will enjoy a vibrant three-day programme.
On July 8, the Day of Family, Love, and Fidelity, the festival will open with a
ceremonial procession of newlyweds. Accompanied by circus performers and
drummers setting the festive rhythm, the festival couples will walk through a
live corridor formed by their loved ones. The procession will be followed by a
joint marriage registration ceremony and a symbolic handover of the flame of
the family hearth from the couples of the I All-Russian Wedding Festival — a
symbol of many joyful years together.
The
National Centre RUSSIA will also host the 5th All-Russian Forum of Large
Families "Large Family's Russia," thematic public talks on family
relationships and wedding traditions, gastronomic showcases with tastings of
traditional wedding dishes from various peoples of Russia, workshops on
creating traditional family charms, performances by celebrities, a wedding
costume exposition, and much more.
