Special Alloy Cup and Wish Board: projects of the Ural-Siberian macroregion were discussed at the RUSSIA EXPO
At the plenary session "Space of the Future:
Ural-Siberian Macroregion" the heads of the regions of the Urals Federal
District presented promising projects on three thematic lines (dominants) — oil
and gas industry, technological sovereignty and infrastructure.
The discussions were launched by Vladimir Yakushev,
Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of Russia to the Urals Federal District.
He brought with him the Special Alloy Cup, symbolizing the rich history,
culture and achievements of the macroregion, and also presented the district's
Wish Board.
"Today I did not come empty-handed. The cup to which I
want to draw your attention is special: it has a special energy alloy, as it is
imbued with the unique energy of the regions of our county. The authors of the
cup are masters of metal weapons from Zlatoust. The cup reflects everything
that instills a sense of pride for the country," said Vladimir Yakushev.
The Urals envoy also presented the key vectors of the
district's development until 2030: "The first dominant factor is oil, it
includes the oil and gas, and petrochemical industry, the second one is that
only through joint efforts we can achieve technological sovereignty, and the
third one covers the developed infrastructure".
Vladimir Yakushev left an entry on the Wish Board and
invited the heads of regions to write their dreams and goals on it, and for
everyone to touch the Cup and make a wish. "Everything will come true, you just have to wish for
it," concluded Vladimir Yakushev.
Igor Levitin, Aide to the President of the Russian
Federation, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation
for International Cooperation in the Field of Transport, spoke about the
special importance of the macroregion, and also noted that the main role in its
development is played by people.
"It is very important that here, in the Urals, people
understand their purpose, they know and can do everything, and back in Soviet
times they showed that you can count on them and rely on them. That is why I
would like to wish you success, good luck, support, and to hold on to this
cross on which the balance of logistics of the Russian Federation is
based," said Igor Levitin.
Evgeny Kuyvashev, Governor of the Sverdlovsk region,
described how major infrastructure projects can set a new vector for the
macroregion's development and generate sources of growth that can nourish the
economy for decades to come.
"By implementing these important projects, we are
laying a solid foundation for achieving the main goal - the prosperity of the
entire Greater Urals, increasing the well-being of our fellow countrymen. I am
convinced that the regions of the Urals Federal District will always be
powerful drivers of economic and cultural development of the entire country,
the home of talents, inventors, strong spirits, energetic and hardworking
people," said Evgeny Kuyvashev.
Dmitry Artyukhov, Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous
Area, drew the attention of those present to the way the economy influences
social results. "We are a young region, the average age here is 35, and
what makes us especially happy is that we have a 'top five' birth rate. We are
second only to Chechnya, Dagestan, Ingushetia, Tuva, and the fifth place is
actually Yamal. And if people are looking confidently into the future, expanding
their families, then we are on the right track," concluded Dmitry
Artyukhov.
Alexander Moore, Governor of the Tyumen region, noted that
in terms of investment policy, development of industry, small and medium-sized
businesses, everything in the region is done for the sake of the residents,
especially for young people.
"By 2035, the number of young residents of the Tyumen
region will almost double, and we are already implementing a strategically
important project for us — a world-class inter-university campus. It will
create conditions and even more opportunities for the intellectual and creative
development of young people and will become a new basis for the technological
development of the region's economy," said Alexander Moore.
Ruslan Kukharuk, Acting Governor of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous
Area — Yugra, noted that while developing its potential, the region actively
uses modern technologies and innovations: "Unmanned transport, logistics
spaces, oil and gas production control centers, smart wells and virtual fields
have become an industry standard in traditional oil production. In addition, on
the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, a world-class
innovative scientific and technological centre UNITY-PARK is being created in
the region. By 2030, the Centre will become a place of attraction for young
researchers, scientists who will create new products in oil and gas production,
oil and gas refining, genetics and biomedicine".
