Merchant cheeses, elite Valençay and exemplary parmesan: gourmet delights at the Farmers Fair
The Farmers
Fair at the RUSSIA EXPO invites guests to a real feast. In Pavilion No. 48 at
the Farmers Fair you will be able to taste meat delicacies and pates, berries
and mushroom products, as well as a variety of cheeses. Connoisseurs are
welcome to try both classic variants and unique author's recipes.
Cheese makers
from the Leningrad region will bring their famous Izvara cheeses under the
brand name, which are prepared at a small family cheese factory. The cheese
contains only whole milk, which is sent to the cheese factory a few hours after
milking, leaven and natural enzyme that curdles the milk into cheese. And then
there is salt, which is necessarily added in small quantities. All products are
made in an artisanal way. The basis of modern Izvara cheese is a merchant's
recipe of 1903, provided from the archives of the Pavlovsk Palace in Gatchina.
Having reworked and adapted the recipe, the producers offered customers a
modern version of the cheese.
Products
from the Tambov region will once again delight guests. The cheese factory is
located in the most ecologically clean region of Russia. Tambov land is a black
soil land. Therefore, the fodder has a special aroma of mixed grass, which is
passed on to the milk. And the cheeses
themselves are produced according to Italian recipes. The taste and aroma will
satisfy any, even the most picky buyer.
This is not
the first time the Chuvash Republic will present its products. Soft with mold,
semi-hard, hard - more than 20 types of handmade cheese from goat and cow milk
are produced according to European technologies. The assortment also includes
sour-milk products and even candies made of craft cheese. The products of the
cheese factory are multiple Prize-Winners and Winners of the "Best Cheese
of Russia" contest, as well as the "golden" prize winner of the
first Russian contest "CHEESE EXPO 2024".
The
participant from the Ivanovo region specializes in the production of smoked
sausage cheese, several types of hard rennet cheeses, such as:
"Parmesan", "Gruyere", "Puchezh Premium", soft
cheeses "Caucasian" and "Caucasian" with additives:
Provence herbs, fenugreek, paprika, dried tomatoes. And not so long ago the
brand launched a line of Italian cheeses and goat milk cheeses. For 3 years in
a row the company's products have been awarded gold medals at the World Food
International Exposition.
The Bryansk
region can also boast of natural and tasty cheeses. The farm breeds goats of
dairy breed, mainly "Saanen", and the enterprise is equipped with the
most modern equipment.
In addition, berry products can once again be tasted at the Farmers Fair. The eco-farm is located in an ecologically clean place, the village of Mizgino in the Ivanovo region near the forecourt of the Nikolo-Shartomsky Monastery. In this picturesque place they grow honeysuckle, strawberries, black currants, raspberries, red currants and sea buckthorn. The company supplies fresh berries in season, and stewed berries, jams, confitures, juices, marmalade and freeze-dried berries are available year-round.
This week's Farmers Fair also features meat products from the Tambov region, dried mushrooms and famous mushroom caviar from a brand from the Leningrad region, and natural Orenburg sausages.
