The head of the Kursk region introduced it as an amazing land of contrasts and invited all the guests of the International RUSSIA EXPO to visit the region’s stand.

At the stand of the Kursk region guests of the exposition will be able to visit the largest iron ore basin of the planet, get acquainted with the work of farmers, inhale the aromas of Kursk herbs and even compose their own nightingale song.

"What is the connection between fragile sweet-voiced nightingales and strong metal? It is the Kursk region. This is a marvelous land of contrasts, here we have the largest iron deposit in the world and benchmark black soil with green meadows. This is the land that has become a symbol of heroism and courage, and it also gifts people with the melodies of invisible musicians", — said Roman Starovoit.

According to the governor, the harmony of such different features of the region inspired the creation of a stand under the concept of "Nightingales and Iron". It will be possible to fully appreciate it at the RUSSIA EXPO.

The International RUSSIA EXPO will be held in Moscow at VDNH from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024. Each region of the Russian Federation will present its stand, where it will introduce visitors to the key achievements in various industries. Federal authorities, representatives of large corporations, public associations and foreign countries will also take part in the exposition.
