Larisa Dolina at the RUSSIA EXPO: "Jazz music brought me up as a musician"
On May 11, a creative meeting with Soviet and Russian pop singer and actress Larisa Dolina was held at the RUSSIA EXPO in Pavilion No. 75 in Moscow space. The artist told about her formative years in the profession.
"When I was about 12 years old, I, having heard some jazz composition, felt that I liked this music very much. I started trying it out. Over the years, I started to improvise on my own. And now I do it with ease and with a great love for this music. Jazz brought me up as a musician, laid in me the very nucleus from which small molecules emerged. And molecules are the styles that I have mastered during my creative career. And I've been in the profession for 53 years," Larisa Dolina told her fans.
Speaking about her attitude to modern music, Larisa Dolina noted that it is controversial. But at the same time, she advocated for the creative development of each person, especially for the possibility of self-realization for all young people.
