One of the most touching moments of the solemn opening of the branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in Vladivostok was a romantic event that will remain forever in the memory of the guests.

Right on stage, in front of a large audience, a guest of the festive programme — Alexei — proposed to his beloved Valeria. Amid loud applause, he said: "Lera, I love you very much, I want to share my whole future life with you, that is why today I want to ask you: will you marry me?"

The answer came quickly — just moments later she confidently said "Yes!", and the square erupted in ovations.

"Alexei, Valeria, we congratulate you with all our hearts. You have made an incredibly brave and beautiful gesture that will make your life even brighter, more wonderful and fulfilling. A great treasure is appearing in your family — and that is you for each other," said Anastasia Borodina, host of the festive programme and journalist of the Moskva 24 TV channel.

A special gift for the newly engaged couple was an invitation to the All-Russian Wedding Festival in Moscow.

Warm words of guidance for the couple also came from families who had previously tied the knot as part of the All-Russian Wedding Festival. Their words became a symbol of continuity, faith in love and the value of family as the main foundation of the future.
