The best youth brass bands performed at the Exposition
On June 11, the RUSSIA EXPO hosted the All-Russian Youth Festival of Brass Bands "With You, Country!". Performances of bands from Belgorod, Donetsk People's Republic and Samara region took place near the Arch of the Main Entrance of VDNH. The event began with a drum boom and ended with a jazz performance by a concert orchestra from Samara.
The festival will continue on June 12 and 13. Performances will be held at the Exposition and the Northern River Station, and the central event will be a concert on Red Square. The festival participants are brass and creative teams from Moscow, DPR, Belgorod, Kaluga, Samara, as well as Moscow, Vladimir and Yaroslavl regions.
In 2023, the All-Russian Youth Festival of Brass Bands "With You, Country!" became the largest showcase of creativity of children's and youth and professional brass bands. From June through September, more than 80 brass bands took part in the festival events.
The project was realized with the use of a grant provided by the NGO "Russian Culture Fund" within the framework of the federal project "Creative People" of the national project "Culture". The organizer is the Association "Valery Khalilov Wind Society".
On 3 March, the National Centre RUSSIA hosted the ceremony for the Znanie.Award — the country's enlightening prize and flagship project of the Russian society Znanie.
At the fifth awarding ceremony of the enlightening prize "Znanie.Award", the National Centre RUSSIA became the laureate in the "Enlightening Company of the Year" nomination.
On 3 March, a meeting of the Organising Committee for the Year of Unity of the Peoples of the Russian Federation was held at the National Centre RUSSIA.
