An in-house project of the National Centre RUSSIA, the Open Dialogue titled "The Future of the World. A New Platform for Global Growth", is becoming a major international event. The initiative has been supported by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, who noted that the Open Dialogue is a step towards forming a new global model of growth.

The project was launched in April 2025, and has already united active participants: experts and authors of ideas, said Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation and Deputy Chairman of the Organising Committee of the National Centre RUSSIA. He summed up the results of the international format and spoke about plans for 2026.

"The Open Dialogue initiative is gaining momentum step by step. The number of authors and experts has exceeded 3,000 people from 102 countries, who are speaking 18 languages. All of them contribute to shaping a vision for the future and global development of the world. Currently, entries are being collected for the second Open Dialogue, which is becoming an annual event, and will take place in April. We see great interest from participants; at their request, the submission deadline has been extended until 30 January next year," said Maxim Oreshkin.

Essays are being accepted in four tracks: investments in people, investments in technology, investments in connectivity, and investments in the environment. Authors can submit their work via the link. On 30 January 2026, the first expert forum of the Open Dialogue is set to be held at the National Centre RUSSIA. The event will bring together specialists across a wide range of fields from around the world. They will discuss the initiatives and proposals from the essay authors. The main Open Dialogue event will take place in April 2026.

"This event will become traditional, and will be held annually. Its aim is to expand the Open Dialogue year by year, involve more people, and strengthen horizontal connections between those who want to positively influence change in their countries and in the world as a whole. It is a broad discussion that will definitely take place next year, and I am confident it will be even more successful compared to the level achieved in 2025," said Maxim Oreshkin.
