Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov gave children a tour of the
exposition of Pavilion D of the Ministry of Economic Development "Feel
Russia" and also spoke about tourism in the country.
"We
are the ministry that is responsible for the development of tourism, among
other things. Everyone has their own image of the concept of
"tourism": this is where you and I travel to. But where we travel,
how we travel and why we travel - this is what our ministry is in charge of.
First of all, it is about impressions: when we arrive on vacation, it should be
comfortable, interesting, safe, and delicious. This is a big job, which
involves a lot of people", - said Maxim Reshetnikov.
The head of
the Ministry of Economic Development spoke about the importance of tourism for
the economy and measures to support the domestic tourism industry, as well as
new tourist destinations and professional development in this area.
"The RUSSIA EXPO is an absolutely monumental project, where a visual image of how the country has changed over the past 20 years is truly assembled, and in a very high quality way. There are a lot of cool regional stands at the Exposition, very good expositions of industry colleagues. And one of the expositions is our pavilion, where we talk about tourism under the wonderful slogan "Feel Russia". We have collected highlights from the regions and tried to get people interested so that they would want to come to all these regions. We really want to attract people so that everyone fell in love with our country once again", - Maxim Reshetnikov emphasized.
The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. Throughout the entire period of the exposition, guests will be welcomed with cultural and entertainment events, a rich business and educational program. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal departments, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. The exposition will run at VDNH in Moscow until April 12.
The All-Russian student holiday "Your Graduation" brought together 600 outstanding university graduates from more than 80 regions of the country.
