The International RUSSIA EXPO hosts bright and engaging events every day. On June 2, visitors can attend events as part of the Movement of the First Festival, unique sports events, concerts by Russian performers, and informative lectures.

Holiday concert of the Movement of the First Festival

Visitors will enjoy a large holiday program as part of the International Festival of Childhood and Youth "Movement of the First". Performers will include artists such as Khabib, Akmal, Amirchik, and others. The program also includes a fashion show by the Ministry of School Fashion of the Movement of the First and the Festival’s closing ceremony.

Moscow Martial Arts Festival

As part of the Moscow Martial Arts Festival, everyone can attend masterclasses on aikido, sword fighting, and wushu, as well as participate in exercises with aikido sports masters Alexei Zhdanov and Alexei Sitnikov.

When: 10:00 – 14:30

Quiz "MuzMoscow"

Participants will take part in an intellectual journey through musical landmarks of the capital associated with great classical names like P. I. Tchaikovsky, S. V. Rachmaninoff, S. S. Prokofiev, S. I. Taneyev, F. I. Shalyapin, and other cultural figures. The event will be hosted by famous TV presenter Oksana Fedorova.

Lectures at the "Future in Flowers" Festival

At the "Future in Flowers" Festival, Florence Gervaise d'Alden, the founder of the Rose Fairy company, will give lectures on one of the most popular flowers. The first event, "From Wild Rose to Selection, a Brief History," will explore the origins and evolution of roses. The lecture "The Universe of Rose Scents" will offer insights into the variety of rose fragrances.

Book presentations

The first presentation will be dedicated to Alexander Shaganov's book "I'll Go Out at Night with a Horse," an anthology of all his works created over the years. This will be followed by a presentation of Keti Sapovich’s short story collection "Principle-less Readings. Placebo Effect."

Theremin masterclass by Peter Termen

The theremin (also known as termenvox) is a musical instrument played by hand movements in the air without touch. The musician will perform various genres, explain how to play the theremin correctly, and help guests play a small melody.

Music Festival "Moscow Village x Istok." Registration required on the RUSSIA EXPO website

At the "Moscow Village X Istok" Music Festival, guests can attend a lecture on ethnic music, a vocal masterclass by the “KOMON” ensemble, and concerts by the group "Yermak!", the "Volya" ensemble, singer Linda, and rap artist Husky.

Dance masterclass

Visitors will learn the basic movements of locking, waacking, and a small dance sequence. Everyone, regardless of dance experience, is welcome to participate.

Concert "Youth of the Ancient Land"

The concert will showcase the development of Tuvan culture and art at the modern stage and provide a glimpse into future achievements. The concert will feature young designers from the "Uryankhai" ensemble and the folk-rock group "Ayan," performing old folk songs in modern arrangements.

Farmers Fair

The Farmers Fair in Pavilion No. 48 invites you to be amazed by the variety and richness of tastes. Cheeses, sausages, delicacies, Siberian berry jam, chocolate-covered cones, black and red caviar from all regions of the country are presented here. You can comfortably get to our Fair by route No. K, which departs from Pavilion No. 75, as well as from the stop "Northern Loop", located at the arch of the Main Entrance of VDNH. Pavilion No. 48 is within walking distance from the "City Farm" stop.
