Dreams that change the world: Igor Kozhelin invites participation in the video essay contest
The future begins with a dream — and a dream is born in the
heart of each of us. In the second season of the All-Russian video essay
contest "Dreams of the Future", young talents can bring their ideas
to life in vivid video pieces and share them with the entire country. Igor
Kozhelin, Director General and co-founder of the Russian space IT company SR
Data, invites everyone to join the new season of the project.
The expert is convinced that it is bold ideas and belief in
one’s dream that give rise to major discoveries: "Thirty years ago, I
dreamed that one day I would build my own spacecraft and begin exploring outer
space. And now I am gradually moving towards my dream. I believe that you have
a great number of ambitions and aspirations. <...> Register and take
part. I am confident that it is your dreams that will change this world in the
future. Go for it — you will succeed!"
The All-Russian video essay contest "Dreams of the
Future" is an original project of the National Centre RUSSIA dedicated to
promoting the legacy of Russian and Soviet science fiction. Participants are
given a unique opportunity for creative self-expression: in their contest
entries, they will show what kind of future they want to create and will be
able to reinterpret the ideas and narratives of science fiction writers whose
works have shaped the imagination of millions of readers around the world. The
project aims to engage the younger generation in research, creative, and
innovative activities, and to foster interest in science fiction literature.
The best video works will be presented on the big screen
during the final of the contest at the National Centre RUSSIA. Winners will
also receive valuable prizes and opportunities for further development in their
creative careers. More information about the contest and how to apply is
