"Youth Hike to the Heart of the Country" — at the RUSSIA EXPO
Representatives of Russia's leading higher education
institutions, student tourist clubs, major youth associations, leading tourism
projects, youth organizations and initiatives marched with the flags of their
organizations from the Main Stage of the Exposition to Pavilion No. 75 in the
procession "Youth Hike to the Heart of the Country".
At the end of the march, the participants had a photo
session with the flags and paraphernalia of their organizations.
The event was organized by the Youth and Student Tourism
Program (Studturizm). Student tourism is an opportunity for students of
educational organizations of higher education and young professionals from 18
to 35 years old to travel around Russia, staying in the hostels of partner
universities at affordable prices.
The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important
achievements of the country gathered in one place. Throughout the Exposition,
cultural events, a rich business and educational program await the guests. The
expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and
public organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 17 million people
have already visited the Exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO takes place
on the territory of VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
The National Centre RUSSIA informs visitors that its opening hours will be temporarily adjusted in the penultimate week of March.
On 22 March, participants of the new academic season of the "Young Tour Guide School of Russia" delivered their first guided tour for parents and guests of the National Centre RUSSIA.
The Literary Club "What to Read?!" is a space for those who want not only to read, but also to think independently, discuss books and learn more about their authors.
