Bridge, modern highway and ideal vacation for children: the Republic of Crimea at the RUSSIA EXPO
On the Day
of the Region, the Republic of Crimea presented an exposition that displays the
region's achievements over the decade as part of the Russian Federation.
The region
spoke about the construction of the Crimean Bridge, the modern Tavrida highway
and the new terminal of the Ivan Aivazovsky International Airport.
The Artek
International Children's Center was renovated in Crimea. It is called the
trademark of the best recreation for children in Russia. New power units of the
Tavricheskaya TPP were opened in the Republic, health care and education were
modernized. And also, since 2014, about 61 million tourists have vacationed in
Crimea.
"We have a lot to show and a lot to be proud of. The changes that have taken place in the Russian Crimea can be called fantastic without any exaggeration. As part of the execution of the instruction of our President Vladimir Putin, the economy is developing, the infrastructure is being modernized, new schools, kindergartens, health care facilities and sports facilities are being built. Ambitious projects in the sphere of urban development are being implemented, our towns and villages are being transformed before our eyes. The volume of investments in various sectors is growing," emphasized the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov.
Bright wedding rituals of the south of the country accompanied by the ensemble Podvorie of the Crimean State Philharmonic Society were performed for the visitors.
Young participants of the workshop "Modelling — a Prototype with Your Own Hands," held on May 31 at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The history of Russian architecture, bold concepts, and Soviet urban planning projects realised across the globe were presented to delegations of the exposition on May 31.
The award ceremony for the winners of the All-Russian video essay contest "Dreams of the Future" will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA on June 1, International Children's Day.
