"Music: a bridge between generations": beatboxer Vakhtang performs at the "Living Windows of Christmas" concert
European Champion, eight-time Russian Champion, and World
Vice-Champion in beatboxing Vakhtang Kalandadze participated in the multi-genre
concert program "Living Windows of Christmas" at the National Centre
RUSSIA. The artist shared his impressions of the event and spoke about the role
of music in modern society.
"In my ideal world, everyone listens to classical music
and enjoys it. Combining operatic singing and beatboxing on one stage allows
young people to get closer to beauty. It's a great honor for me to contribute
to such changes," emphasized Vakhtang.
The musical evening "Living Windows of Christmas"
on January 7 featured a multi-genre concert program dedicated to the story of
the Christmas night, with performances by soloists from the country's leading
theaters, renowned conductors, and creative ensembles.
A unique approach to presenting musical traditions combined
with a modern perspective on art harmoniously brought together people from
different generations.
The event included performances by Merited Artist of Russia
and Bolshoi Theatre soloist Agunda Kulayeva, Mariinsky Theatre soloist Natalia
Pavlova, Bolshoi Theatre soloist Kseniya Dezhneva, Mariinsky Theatre soloists
Alexander Trofimov and Andrei Serov, and European Champion, eight-time Russian
Champion, World Champion in beatboxing Vakhtang, among other stars.
Professor, Honorary Research Fellow at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) in Bangladesh Mustafizur Rahman will be another international participant of the Open Dialogue.
On 28 August, the National Centre RUSSIA launched enrolment in the "Young Tour Guides School of Russia".
On 27 August, the National Centre RUSSIA hosted a panel discussion organised by the EISR titled "Knowledge about the Country’s Achievements: To Whom and How Should It Be Properly Communicated?".
