29.01.2024
From January 30 to February 4, guests of St. Petersburg's stand at the RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH, will be offered medical checkups, an animated interactive map of the city's health, a VR simulator for poor eyesight, "deaf" headphones, as well as a full electronic catalog of the Northern Capital's healthcare achievements and even a unique art object - a bust of Peter the Great made of medical instruments.
Visitors to the stand can begin their acquaintance with the subject of healthcare with a unique sculpture made of surgical instruments - a bust of Peter the Great. The art object was created with the support of the St. Petersburg Health Care Committee. The authors of the work were Valeria Loshak, a record holder of the Guinness Book of Records, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia and the Union of Designers of St. Petersburg, and Kirill Kovalev, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. The bust is 220 centimeters high and 150 centimeters wide. The creators of the sculptural composition have already applied for inclusion of the art object in the Book of Records of Russia as the only artwork in the form of a sculptural composition made entirely of medical instruments.
The main information object of the exposition will be an electronic catalog of achievements - an interactive reference system containing information about all achievements of St. Petersburg healthcare in photo, video or illustrated format.
An animated map with the achievements of St. Petersburg healthcare will be placed on the main screen. In the interactive mode, a variety of micro-stories which illustrate significant events related to the development of health care in St. Petersburg will be available for study.
In the interactive zone visitors will be able to undergo a body checkup, checking the main parameters of their body condition: arm strength, weight, pressure and pulse, blood saturation, glucose level and even determine the percentage of adipose tissue in the body. And with the help of VR-glasses it will be possible to try on the sensations of a person with cataract, as well as to review other ophthalmological disabilities. In addition, visitors to the exposition will be able to use interactive headphones to hear famous pieces of music and familiar sounds from life as a person with hearing loss would hear them.
The guests of the St. Petersburg stand within the framework of the thematic "Healthy" season will be famous representatives of medical circles, actors and writers, scientific and political figures. They will share their stories about ways to maintain health and keep wellness.
