The media facade of the National Centre RUSSIA is broadcasting the best moments of the launch of the Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket
The media holding MAER broadcasted the launch of the Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with a transport cargo spacecraft on February 28. The best moments of this event can be seen on the media facade located on the building of the National Centre RUSSIA. The broadcast will continue until March 2 inclusive.
A total of 2.6 tons of cargo has been sent to the International Space Station, including equipment and instruments for station systems, scientific experiments, clothing, food, medical and sanitary-hygienic supplies for the crew of the 72nd long-term expedition. Additionally, Progress MS-30 will deliver 950 kilograms of fuel for refueling, 420 kilograms of drinking water for cosmonauts, and 50 kilograms of nitrogen to replenish the station’s atmosphere.
"For the first time, our media holding, together with Roscosmos, has conducted a unique nighttime live broadcast of a spacecraft launch. More than 12 million people will see the launch in real-time and daytime reruns exclusively on digital street screens. Among them, we will also showcase the best moments on the media facade of the National Centre RUSSIA. It is an honor for me to work with Roscosmos and make our achievements in space as accessible as possible," said Konstantin Mayor, owner and CEO of the MAER media holding.
Among the cargo is the new Orlan-MKS No. 6 spacesuit, designed for cosmonauts’ spacewalks under the Russian program. The spacecraft is also delivering equipment for experiments to be conducted on the station, including "Aseptic," "Biodegradation," "Virtual," "Cascade," "Lazma," "Mirage," "Neuroimmunity," and "Photobioreactor."
The Soyuz-2.1a rocket, designated for launching the Progress MS-30 spacecraft, features images commemorating the 60th anniversary of the first human spacewalk, the 100th anniversary of cosmonaut Pavel Belyaev, the 100th anniversary of the International Children's Centre Artek, and the launch of Rosmolodezh's forum campaign.
It is worth noting that in January 2025, the MAER media holding launched a media screen on the facade of the National Centre RUSSIA building. The new screen, covering an area of 1,050 square meters, supports 3D technology and can display high-quality video. Every day, visitors and passersby can enjoy unique content and stay informed about events at the National Centre.
