Another exposition — "Christmas Trees of Russia" — will be held at the VDNH as part of the International RUSSIA EXPO. From December 1, the territory of the complex will be decorated with 89 live fir trees from each region of the country.

Each region, presenting its own fir tree, will decorate it in accordance with its own New Year traditions. The design of the trees will reflect folk arts and crafts from different parts of the country. Professional designers, florists and fashion experts will work on the decoration.

New Year trees will decorate VDNH until February 12, 2024. And in spring they will be planted on the territory of the complex in memory of the major event and as symbols of unity of all regions. In addition, a unified catalog "Christmas Trees of Russia" will be issued, in which it is planned to collect descriptions of decorations.

The international RUSSIA EXPO at the VDNH will be held from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024. All subjects of the Russian Federation will take part in it. Each region will present an exposition of its achievements. Guests will also be invited to cultural, business and educational programs.
