At the IV Congress of the Movement of the First at the National Centre RUSSIA, winners and laureates of the All-Russian competition "Prize of the First" were awarded. This competition involves participants from the Movement evaluating projects aimed at the comprehensive development of children and youth, selecting those worthy of nationwide recognition and gratitude. More than 30 projects and organizations from 19 regions of Russia became winners and laureates.

Hero of Russia, participant of the presidential program "Time of Heroes," Chairman of the Board of the Movement of the First, Artur Orlov, awarded the winners and laureates of the "Prize of the First" competition. He thanked the participants of the Movement of the First for their activity and concern, noting that the Movement of the First was established precisely thanks to children's initiatives and the support of the entire society.

"The 'Prize of the First' is the main children and youth prize of our country. Together with schoolchildren and parents across Russia, the Movement celebrates the best initiatives aimed at supporting and developing the young generation. Over two years, we have united more than 100,000 participants of the popular vote and selected nearly 6,000 nominees — organizations and projects from all over Russia. I am convinced that with the support of the Movement, everyone will be able to implement new and interesting projects, bringing the boldest ideas to life," said Chairman of the Board of the Movement of the First, Artur Orlov.

The All-Russian competition "Prize of the First" is aimed at supporting initiatives and opportunities for children and youth, as well as identifying and recognizing the best projects. This year, the jury included members of the Federal Council of the First, as well as representatives of the professional and expert community. One hundred projects from 36 regions of our Motherland competed for the title of winners in four main categories: "Development," "Leisure," "Healthy Lifestyle," "Children to Children," and three special categories: "Employer of the First," "Heart of the City," "Equal Opportunities." Young people from all over our country contribute to its development, ensuring Russia's victories in economics, science, culture, and on the battlefield. The First know that the success of the country is the success of all its citizens.

In the "Children to Children" category, projects created by the children themselves were presented. Here, children aged 6 to 17 shared their ideas, helped peers, and brought significant initiatives to life. The project "Aviators" from Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, won. "Aviators" is a youth movement founded on April 10, 2024, by active schoolchildren, bringing together young people who want to jointly develop the district's infrastructure and participate in cultural, sports, and artistic events. The jury also highly praised the leadership club "Catch the Moment" from the Republic of Karelia and the project "PRO ECOLOGY" from the Belgorod region.

In the "Development" category, projects were presented that help children and youth learn, grow, and uncover their talents. The winner was the information centre for atomic energy in Voronezh, where children attend lectures, masterclasses, and excursions, and learn about the fascinating world of atomic energy. Participants engage in intellectual games, conduct experiments, and learn about the latest advancements in science and technology. Laureates included the educational robotics section "Robot League" from the Republic of Crimea and "Art Residence 4338" from the Tula region.

In the "Leisure" category, projects and venues for recreation and entertainment for children and youth were considered. The first place went to the "Park of Space Conquerors" from the Saratov region. The laureates included the Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve and the Memorial to the Laborers of the Home Front "Builders of Silent Frontiers" from the Chuvash Republic.

In the regional stage of the "Prize of the First," active participation was seen from Flying Teams — initiative groups consisting of children, parents, and educators. They visited and evaluated projects in their regions using specific criteria. More than 150 teams from 89 regions of Russia took part in this large-scale process. Among the Flying Teams, there was a Creative Contest called "Proposed by the First." Participants had to prepare a video business card and propose their own category for the contest. The winning team, "AngaraUI" from the Irkutsk region, proposed the category "Patriotic Trace."

At the conclusion of the awards ceremony, Dmitry Uvarov, Director of Strategic Partnerships at VK, awarded the Chairman of the Movement of the First, Artur Orlov, for the confident growth and continuous development of the Movement's community on the social network VKontakte.

The IV Congress of the Movement of the First is being held from March 26 to 28 at the National Centre RUSSIA. It is the highest governing body of the Movement, creating a space for collaborative creativity among the key participants in the educational process — children, parents, and mentors. The IV Congress brought together more than two thousand participants from 89 regions of Russia on one platform. The events clearly demonstrate the ideas of the Movement of the First, where schoolchildren and students are project initiators and transmitters of the country's traditional values.
